On May 17, 2008, the Singapore authority stopped the private screening of "One Nation Under Lee," an uncensored film, organized by the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP), an opposition party.
In this age of social media and citizen journalism on the Internet, we get to witness close-up the law in action, as never before possible, and form our own opinion.

"One Nation Under Lee", the film that might threaten the ruling party's grip on power, is on YouTube.
* In 5 parts (higher definition): Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5; or

Here appear occasional jottings of my random musings. Profound or jejune, they reveal the contours of my mental universe, with world history, intellectual history, civilizations, philosophy, religion, society, knowledge, and books as some major themes. Since May 2011, this blog has been exclusively focused on Singapore. All my other reflections are now posted in "Notes from Noosphere" (see link under "Miscellany" on the right margin).
