Only beginning to learn English at the age of 11 in Primary 5, when he left Taiwan with his parents for Singapore, Chen Show Mao (Wikipedia), former Students' Council President at NJC, achieved perfect scores at the 1979 GCE A Level Exams. After NJC, he chose to do National Service.
Here appear occasional jottings of my random musings. Profound or jejune, they reveal the contours of my mental universe, with world history, intellectual history, civilizations, philosophy, religion, society, knowledge, and books as some major themes.
